| SUBJECT: | Final Audit Report on "Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA), Title II-C Out-of-School Youth Program |
| Purpose: | To alert Workforce Investment Local Areas of a recent publication by the Office of Inspector General (OIG) |
| Background: | The OIG has published the findings of its performance report on the JTPA Title II-C Out-of-School Youth programs. This report highlights the audit's significant findings, including deficient and erroneous documentation. The report also makes strong recommendations concerning documentation (e.g. outcomes, service provided, service dates, exit dates).
Recommendations resulting from the second goal of the audit, determining the impact of program intervention on post-program earnings, are also included. |
