| Purpose: | To alert the workforce development system of new resources and publications |
| Background: | The U.S. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration has issued two new Training and Information Notices (TEINs). They are:
TEIN 2-01, New Publication - "Sources of Funding for Youth Services" TEIN 2-01, dated 10/1/01, announces a new publication that assists Local Boards and Youth Councils with identifying available resources by providing a comprehensive directory of potential partners and funding resources. A link is provided to this new publication. TEIN 3-01, dated 10/2/01, provides a set of quality principles for rapid response for incorporation into services related to the provision of rapid response and early intervention services. The Quality Rapid Response Principles are attached. Both TEINs may be found on the www.wdsny.org website under USDOL Documents. |
