| 1:45 – 3:45 | Full Board Briefing & Discussion on the Work Readiness Credential Project The State Board through two of its subcommittees has been actively engaged in a national project to develop a portable “work readiness credential”. Subcommittee members have developed a business plan and GANTT charts to align the national project timetable with state level activities needed to effectively inform the credential development and prepare for pilot testing in 2005. Subcommittee chairs will provide an overview of the project status to date. The Board Chair will lead a full board discussion on issues related to the national project and New York’s role in helping to define the parameters around the credential. |
