The Board will hear presentations from 7 regions of New York State each seeking to submit a federal Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development (WIRED) grant application. Governors may submit 2 applications to the US Department of Labor and the State Board will make the recommendation on which two will be submitted on behalf of New York State.
